Defense Health Agency Awards Contract to Falcona Management & Technology, LLC.

Falcona is excited to announce that it was awarded the Advisory & Program Management Support contract. This contract supports the Defense Health Agency (DHA) at Joint Base San Antonio, Fort San Houston, TX. Located in the Medical Education &Training Campus (METC). The DHA is a joint, integrated Combat Support Agency that enables the Army, Navy, and Air Force medical services to provide a ready medical force to Combatant Commands in both peacetime and wartime. The DHA uses the principles of Ready Reliable Care to advance high-reliability practices across the Military Health System by improving its system operations, driving innovative solutions, and cultivating a culture of safety. The DHA’s global workforce of almost 140,000 civilians and military personnel is committed to medical excellence, health care improvement, and ensuring military personnel is ready to perform combat operations and humanitarian missions at home and abroad. Falcona is honored to support and be part of such a great organization.
Our Falcona team will support this contract by developing plans, programs, and procedures, providing strategic, lean six sigma (Black Belt), educational, and project management consultation to METC. While supporting METC staff and faculty in areas pertaining to Continuous Process Improvement (CPI), strategy implementation, external coordination, process development, and operational guidance.
Our team also provides comprehensive student record management support services to the Office of the Registrar which manages a daily average onboard population of 5,000 Air Force, Army, Navy, and Coast Guard students attending 50 enlisted Medical Training Programs at METC and 22 courses at the Defense Medical Readiness Training Institute (DMRTI) enrolling an average of 17,000 students per fiscal year.
Additionally, Falcona’s team will provide Faculty Credentialing support in academic and formal education counseling services. Our professionals apply their knowledge of the theories, principles, and techniques of general educational guidance and counseling, professional knowledge, of remedial, secondary, and post-secondary education; knowledge of Military Occupation Specialty (MOS) codes, Navy Enlisted Classification (NEC) codes and Air Force Specialty Codes (AFSC) providing Instructors trainers with the tools to work with the Faculty, Staff, and Student Development (FSSD) in support of the education and training services.
