Falcona Wins Engineering Technical Support Task at the Corpus Christi Army Depot
SAN ANTONIO, TX – September 2020 – Falcona was awarded a contract to provide production engineering and technical support to the Corpus Christi Army Depot (CCAD) production engineering directorate and the Continuous Improvement office. The Falcona team has previous experience at CCAD and has been able to work hand in hand with the CCAD engineers in many projects to include technology insertion, pilot programs, equipment procurement, capital investment planning, execution, tool design, and time & motion studies to name a few.
The Corpus Christi Army Depot is a United States Department of Defense (DoD) Center of Industrial and Technical Excellence (CITE) for rotary wing aircraft. The CCAD mission is to ensure aviation readiness for all service and international sales programs. This contract was awarded under the U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Research, Development, and Engineering Center (AMRDEC) Aviation and Missile Command (AMCOM) Expedited Professional and Engineering Support Services (EXPRESS) supporting the Prototype Integration Facility (PIF) technical task order. Falcona will provide technical support directly to the PIF to support the mission of providing rapid response and cost-effective hardware solutions for DoD and other Federal departments and agencies.
