SAN ANTONIO, TX – September 2017 – At the beginning of the year, Falcona Management & Technology, LLC (Falcona) announced its joint venture with Intuitive Research and Technology Corporation (INTUITIVE). The Small Business Administration 8(a) Joint Venture (JV) operates under the name Falcona Intuitive Integrated Solutions, LLC (FIIS). Together, Falcona and INTUITIVE are proud to announce FIIS’s recent contract award to support the Air Force Material Command’s Munitions Handling Unit (MHU)-196/204. Through this contract, FIIS will provide mechanical and electrical engineering, corrosion analysis, obsolescence analysis and mitigation, fabrication, and other technical services to the MHU-196/204 at Robins Air Force Base in Warner Robins, Georgia.
FIIS is equipped with the knowledge and experience to address the Air Force Materiel Command’s unique challenges at each life cycle phase. It’s team of engineers is led by registered Professional Engineers in Mechanical, Electrical, and Industrial & Systems Engineering disciplines, and includes Aerospace, Computer, Manufacturing, and Software Engineers. The FIIS Team of Engineers have extensive experience taking a set of requirements from a multitude of customers and delivering state-of-the-art solutions for both new design and existing efforts.
FIIS is one of four awardees for the MHU-196/204 Engineering Services source selection. This is FIIS’s first multiple award indefinite delivery / indefinite quantity (MA IDIQ) contract.
