Bessie M. Irizarry, P.E., PMP is the CEO and Owner of Falcona Management & Technology, LLC, a woman-owned business headquartered in New Braunfels, Texas. Since stepping into the CEO role in 2022 and becoming sole owner in 2023, Bessie has focused on shaping Falcona into a company that values people and delivers innovative, high-quality solutions for the Department of Defense and other federal partners.

Bessie earned her B.S. in Industrial Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico, Mayagüez Campus. She began her career with internships at Johnson & Johnson and Eli Lilly, and later moved to Texas, where she built expertise in advanced manufacturing industries before earning an M.S. in Management of Technology from the University of Texas at San Antonio. Her career path has always been shaped by a passion for solving problems, improving systems, and creating meaningful, efficient solutions.

Before leading Falcona full-time, Bessie managed multi-million-dollar, large-scale projects at Texas A&M University, where she led engineering teams to deliver cost savings, streamline processes, and strengthen team morale. That same mindset drives her work at Falcona today, where she believes that valuing people is the key to engineering real results.

At Falcona, she sets the company’s strategic direction and guides its culture, ensuring it remains people-centered while delivering mission-ready solutions supported by its ISO 9001:2015-certified quality system. She’s also actively involved in the community, serving on the Business Advisory Committee for the Greater New Braunfels Chamber of Commerce and supporting other local small businesses.

Bessie is a licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) and holds certifications as a Project Management Professional (PMP), Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt (LSSMBB), Contracting Officer’s Technical Representative (COTR), and ISO 9000 Lead Quality Auditor. Her work has earned recognition, including the Excellence in Contracting Support Award from the San Antonio Business Opportunity Council.
